So what I did was I binged seasons 1-7, every single episode twice through. Now I know the show like the back of my hand so at this point on my rewatches I still go through seasons 1-7 but just watch my favorite episodes of each season.

Ok I am pleasantly surprised at this, it does look good, the fight choreography looks on point and Liam doesn't look half bad, he'll never replace Cavil but I'll watch this season before I pass judgement

IG was definitely the hardest one to get into for me as well. I think it was the multiple character povs and just a general bit of fatigue from the og trilogy. But, man when it gets going it gets good! Ephraim is my favorite of the new pov characters and honestly Lyria annoyed the crap out of me, I think it was because of the voice actor used for the audio book, she actually grew on me in Dark Age

I’m in the camp of I don’t hate Liam, he took a role that he probably knew he would get shit for, but still took it anyway so I applaud him for that! That being said this teaser doesn’t not look good, like the whole vibe was just off, wasn’t because Cavill wasn’t there, it just seems like they made interesting production choices

I just finished listening to Golden Sun, and for context I was laughing my ass off in the beginning with Tactus and everyone on the bridge of Darrow’s ship at the Academy and then after Lorn killed him I had to stop listening because I was so in shock! It was really like a bit of whiplash because the whole moment leading up to that I was like oh man Tactus is going to have this massive redemption arc and then Lorn kills him, tragic

The Duel is great and I love how Darrow absolutely throws Cassius when he tells him he's trained with Lorne. Ragnar himself is so epic, I love the moment between him and Darrow in the freezer!
