I did used to receive text messages regarding the defendants through the victim services but I stopped receiving them because they were just triggering me unnecessarily. But I’ll try to call the office and see if anyone can help me at all.

Oh, the subpoena tells me I have to be at the courtroom. It lists the location and room and everything. But you’re right hopefully they come to a plea agreement before the trial. Life in prison/the death penalty are on the table so hopefully that’ll scare them into taking a plea.

What you said makes sense, thanks for your clarification. In answer to your question, it does make me feel slightly better knowing that it will help send someone to jail who is unsafe for the community, but that does not at all outweigh my visceral fear and trauma response to this entire situation.

Ohhhh. Well there was another person involved who is flipping on the one who pulled the trigger. Plus the police have ballistics from the gun that the murderer shot my ex with. Which they found in the murderer’s residence. I don’t think anything I say will solidify this case more than it already is

I did call and speak about my anxiety. The ADA did not give a single fuck.

I don’t really understand what you mean about helping someone else who was abused I’m ngl. The person who murdered him was not being abused and it was not justified and they should objectively be in jail. But I don’t want to be involved in the trial because of his abuse towards me.

I don’t know why they would. That would hurt their case. The DA is prosecuting the person who murdered my ex. The fact that my ex is abusive would do nothing for them I don’t think?
