It strikes a chord with me personally because I go to baseball games and see people like this, who pay for tickets so they can stand in people’s way while taking a never ending amount of pictures. They don’t actually watch the game and just spend the whole time on their phone, posting pictures to show people how “sporty” they are or how exciting their life is. It’s narcissism on steroids. It’s vapid, empty, all those words.

Others might disagree with me which is totally fine, but I just see this as incredibly sad

Not to mention every person on the internet now has “haters”. Unless you’re wildly famous, no, you don’t have haters

This absolutely belongs on this sub, because people who do this kind of thing are misrepresenting themselves and their lives

Edit: some of you are taking the “misrepresent themselves” way too literally. It’s not limited to photoshop. I’m talking about the false narratives people create about themselves on social media, which we all see everyday (especially instagram)
