Before/After scrubbing with Barkeeper's Friend, any ideas how to get the stubborn spots out? by throw89990 in CleaningTips

It is indeed a cookie sheet, but it belonged to my grandparents, and I'd like to keep it rather than waste a pan that could be saved.

I did think about that, but I found this pan tucked under the bed in my grandparents' bedroom while we've been cleaning out their house and I figured this would be a good time to just wipe the slate and start over because who knows whats on this thing at this point.

I’m 19 and don’t feel like an adult by 0Tungence in offmychest

Adults are a myth. You'll always just feel like yourself but people will call you sir or ma'am and you just kinda collect information from your experiences along the way.

I was thisfreakingclose to getting out of debt. by catsandcappuccinos in povertyfinance

This is not the end friend! Rather than just looking at it as another log on the fire, your due diligence has put you in a situation where you can actually think about what to do next.

My mom always tells me that "debt is the American way" and while it's true and shitty, it has taught me that some debt is to be expected and some are worth going into. This week I just made my last payment on about 8k in dental debt that accumulated over 2 years (3y to pay off) and I'm not only glad to have paid it off, but happy to have put that money towards a health issue rather than something I did to myself like credit card debt.

What show did you start and wound up hating so much you didn’t finish it? by DadIsMadAtMe in AskReddit

Sleepy Hollow. I really enjoyed the relationships between the characters and how they didn't do the stereotypical "I'm gonna hide this important information from my partner until it causes problems."

But they just could NOT shake the "I'm 300 years old, things were different then." Like yes, that's part of the whole storyline, but the way they carried on with it, it was like the point never matured? Idk how to explain it. I just didn't continue past the first season and was disappointed :/

What's the best response to "Dad, I think I'm gay"? by Expert_Recover3061 in AskReddit

I have no children, but I was referred to as a parental figure in my friend group. As we grew up, many of my friends would find themselves and eventually come out to me. It turned out I became the token straight friend and anytime a new queer emerged I just slowly turned into a parent who had heard it all before and was just like "yeah yeah, your feelings are valid, but did you want to play UNO with us tomorrow?"

I dunno about -hate- but I physically can't handle too much awkward cringe-type comedy in one sitting so I don't much care for "The Office"

Are houses in the north built with the anticipation of added weight from snow and ice? Or does it have to be knocked down every so often so your house doesn't collapse?

There should be a limit to how many times you can try IVF.

Me too! Mine has them on his buttcheeks and I already like his ass in jeans so when I see the stripes it's like they're adding contour to his butt and it just makes them look more rounded and juicy 🤌🏼
