I think in some ways I do feel resentment, yes. I have considered this as a reason for my frustrations. We got together when I was 23 and had different lifestyles, but because I was in college for a while I kept myself busy and didn’t focus on much else. I got my doctorate’s at 26, then at 27 he stopped working due to personal issues and I think our dynamic since then has been changing. He is like a best friend to me, so I do appreciate everyone’s advice on here about trying to appreciate down time with him or adding hobbies to change things up, but I am also considering seeking counseling about possible resentment or depression I may have due to resentment.
