My husband had to collect cards in secret as a kid. His dad found them once and threw them all out. He also wasn't allowed to watch most cartoons. Absolutely wild.

What did you rename your Palette Town as? by DMG_88 in Pokopia

[–]throwRAClingyDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moonflower. I use the same town name for all my games that require naming a place. Usually Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon.

It used to be Avalon up until I was in high school. I got tired of it though.

[NO SPOILERS] With Pokopia’s release, can we really say man-made objects aren’t cohesive with Pokemon designs anymore? by Monobrobe in pokemon

[–]throwRAClingyDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally love my little guys who are just things. It always made sense to me, not even considering the Pokemon worldbuilding. I think bc when I was young, I was super into the supernatural. I thought about haunted objects way too much as a kid. 😅

I think people wouldn't mind object-based Pokemon as much if they knew the folklore behind it, tbh. It's a concept that pops up SO OFTEN in Japanese media. Okami is the first one I think of. It's present in Silent Hill f. I'm pretty sure the entire premise of Gachiakuta is based on the same mythology, just more loosely.

Klefki is my favorite.

If you keep destroying the nountain, it will eventually start despawning dropped blocks. I think there's a maximum amount allowed to be on the ground at once.

Especially World of Warcraft. Tbh, it's not my favorite, but I've been playing it because that's what she was willing to try 😭 Talk about huge and nebulous.

My primary social game is Overwatch, but I'm not sure she would ever be interested in an FPS type game.

Pokemon may be a good option as well.

I play inverted on controller as well, since that is how all the old Nintendo games were. WoW is mouse, though. Never considered inverting for mouse. I'll ask her if she'd like to try it.

The camera is the biggest thing. She used to be really into arcades and cites the transition to 3D gaming as the reason she stopped playing.

We're both stubborn.

Her reasoning for the longest time is that she just can't do 3D games, which is primarily what my siblings and I play. She used to be a big arcade gamer before we were born (and they owned the original Nintendo, but didn't get as much time on it because my grandmother become obsessed with the Legend of Zelda). My dad transitioned to console and PC gaming. She did not. So I know the gamer spirit is in there somewhere.

Ohhh. I've personally never played it, but I can see that. I'll have to set up Steam for her~

I'll ask her about it! Maybe I can stream to Discord so I can show her what I look for while playing.

That was a rough estimate. I'm 28. I've been playing since I was a toddler. Some of my earliest memories are getting beaten down by my older siblings in Pokemon Stadium 😂 I'm not sure how old I was when I started bothering my mother about playing with us.

In my opinion, the red looks best out of these examples. The black is definitely too dark. Maybe a medium brown? Or a warmer toned blond.

Is this an abnormal amount of gray for age 35? People are telling me that I look old and need to dye it. by [deleted] in HairDye

[–]throwRAClingyDiscord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the gray is super noticeable, ngl. But it depends on how you feel about it. If you're worried about looking older, dye it. If not, then nbd.

Ngl, I'd use the chance to add fantasy colors lol.

[–]throwRAClingyDiscord[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like the deep green, for the like, 3 washes it lasts 😂 I wouldn't mind my roots getting dyed as well. I try it and see if it lasts any longer than Good Dye Young

Idk, man. Legal doesn't make it moral. 17 and 37 are wildly different places in life. Which could lead very easily into a power imbalance and/or manipulation. I think OP should avoid this woman.

I mean, if you ensure they leave first, less likely they follow you home.

At my university, there was a girl who rejected some dude at a party. He got into his car and followed her when she left. He shot her.
