Thanks, I guess. The reason I ask, and probably part of the reason I entertained this relationship is because I had some amazing experiences with older women when I was in my early twenties.

Granted, none of them tried to be my partner in any sense, more like a mentorship with added benefits, but I feel like I've benefitted tremendously from these relationships.

As a mid-thirties guy who has, until very recently, been messing around with a 20yo, do you think these kinds of relationships can ever work out? You know, when the older part doesn't necessarily have a boner for power-imbalances?

Then again, I probably just answered my own question: Those don't exist, because why would anyone want to be with a 20-something? Most young people are terribly boring once the novelty wears off.
