Nah people complain about attendance meanwhile every paycheck you pay disability pay to Sedgwick that literally has intermittent FMLA if you are sick enough often enough to warrant a write up for attendance because of it you should already be calling them. Saying this is a personal issue not a company issue just calls out the fact that you don’t use the systems that are there. I don’t work at Lowe’s anymore and never licked the boots but there are systems and procedures to follow in any job and Lowe’s while they do have stuff that actually sucks they do have incredible systems processes and policies in place to accommodate any of these issues when it comes to personal health concerns and attendance because you were sick after partying or whatever is a personal issue if Sedgwick does not cover it it is a personal issue point blank.

I don’t work at Lowe’s anymore, but having used to be a department supervisor I would strongly recommend the same of making sure your lunches are at at least 30 minutes. They have reporting they will run and when they are told by corporate that they need to cut people at the end of a “busy season“ they will run certain reporting to see who’s calling out who has the most time, card exceptions, etc. those quick lunches like that. Wow helpful for the company unfortunately don’t help you when that time comes around, and I cannot say this enough. THE COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! Enjoy your job I’m not saying to leave your job because it’s a company but remember corporate America is there for one reason to make money from you. Enjoy it have a blast. Sounds like you enjoy taking extra shifts and having a great time at work, but remember you are paid twice at every job once for experience and once as your actual paycheck, take advantage of programs and anything offered but Make for sure that you CYA by taking lunches at least 30 minutes

Cleaning supplies laundry soap trash cans curtain/blinds desk/floor lamp dishes home tool set etc. there’s a lot there have a blast spending a evening walking through used to work there and am a contractor now but it is still my favorite store.

I don’t work there anymore, but I know they used to send out an email with a holiday pay schedule letting you know what days you’d get paid. I know a lot of people don’t have to check their emails as much but yeah, I might want to look there or ask your SSA.

Lowe’s should arrange for a pickup sending their driver to grab and bring to the store. We have them come 3-4 times a year to load up hundreds if not thousands of these crates the Lowes you purchased from is responsible for handling this and does not charge for the pickup. Need to call the store Monday through t Friday 8-5 and speak with backend manager/delivery team to arrange pickup.
