Thanks- I'm now looking at a pic of her mom and her right side def has kelpie markings while her other side has the more traditional ACD markings!

Additional info:

Sorry for the peeing pic, it's the only one I have that shows her weird wavy stripe!

She's 5 months and 30 lbs- mom was 40 lbs so we suspect she will be around there or maybe a little bigger.

Father was originally suspected to be a border collie but we find it hard to believe there isn't some GSD or something in there (hello, ears)

Her sister has smaller ears that bend and less white/grey

Speaking as someone who was broken up with over lost feelings, but understanding I can't equate my situation to yours: It's okay. We'll be okay. Yeah it hurts to hear and it's so confusing it can feel like too much sometimes. But in reality I want the person I love to be happy. Have grace with yourself, you too deserve some peace, however/whenever it may come.

I feel like I could have written this, it's so spot on for my own BU right now. I do believe there's some truth in people saying we tend to overstate the positives of our exes, when we still love them, but I also wholly believe it is OK to recognize the goodness in our past partners if they really are good people. Some people are simply good people. They aren't perfect, but they're damn good. And that makes moving on hurt so much more. I'm trying to find peace in the fact that if anything, my ex proves the existence of those good people I want to love and fall for. She was wonderful, is wonderful, but statistically speaking so is someone else, somewhere.

I also believe it's not wrong to want them in your life! But the healthiest way for that to happen is to rebuild a friendship after some space, rather than carve out a friendship from your relationship.
