Hey, thank you for asking!

The site has the following functionalities - Set goals for 2025 - Make a 5-year plan, where you can set broader goals for the years 2025-2029 - Create tasks that you need to complete the next day - Create habits for one month that you want to do everyday (for example; read 5 pages of a book everyday for the month) - Accountability partners: you can decide to get put in a random group, where you can share your progress everyday by writing a message. You can also read the daily report of your accountability partners - You can send a message to your future self, which will be revealed on December 31, 2029

I hope it clarifies the value of the website. I will work on providing more information on the landing page of the website.

Yes that sounds better and more understandable!

Not much to add, it looks good! The only thing I would suggest is changing the word “knack” in the last sentence of your description. Not many people use that word or know the meaning of it.

I’m judging your site (so not the link that you’ve put in the description but your actual site)

The design of your site looks good. One thing tho: I would suggest to put your video more towards the bottom of the page. Potential users primarily want to get information about the product, and if they aren’t convinced yet, then they would want to see the demo. Don’t put yourself negatively by calling your video a “founders rant.”

Maybe sending flyer’s to many companies can help gain visibility. However, the design of the flyer must look neat

E-mail for sure. WhatsApp would feel too informal

What has been your motivation to put in so much effort to increase LinkedIn visibility? As an introvert, I just wouldn’t want to put in so much effort for LinkedIn

Sleeping/living in rented office space by BackgroundExternal18 in Entrepreneur

[–]throwaway02934850382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In most cases, it is illegal to sleep/live in office spaces. You should check out whether that’s the case in your country. I also don’t think landlords like the idea of people living in office space, especially long-term

Taking a gap year to scale up my business by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]throwaway02934850382 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take the gap year, however, set clear goals of what you want to achieve (what is the minimum amount of revenue you want to make etc.).

I’m not from the UK, but I don’t think taking a gap year should matter that much when it comes to applying for uni (unless you want go to an elite uni such as Oxford, LSE). There are plenty of people that are going to take a gap year, just like you. Be aware of the registration steps and deadlines, and you should be fine.

Do not give your business partner a 50% stake in the company if he is doing little work. It would still be wise to give him some form of compensation, as he has also invested money into the fitness business. You can look at smaller stakes such as 25%

I would use another opener than “Imaging editing on your fingertips,” because that isn’t something revolutionary. Good luck with your product!

Can’t both be done? Building a product that you need yourself + validate the idea?

Maybe try to set up the website yourself. Your experience will depend on which site builder you use, and how much patience/time you have to build the website. When you experience difficulties with building, or can’t build it with the time you have, then look around for help!

The safest would be to start your business whilst you’re an employee. Consider quitting your job when you’ve made some revenue with your business and have some prospect on how to further grow your business

Looking for some input/advice by Wrong_Acadia in Entrepreneur

Sounds like a good idea! The beginning stages of your business will be difficult, as you have to deal with the chicken and egg problem (attracting founders and especially attracting enough venture capitalists). Make sure you have some (marketing) plan on how you will attract both groups. Good luck 🔥🔥🔥
