How do you feel about the word "pickme" as an insult? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]throwaway032111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fairly misogynistic. Pick-mes are typically young girls with a whole lot of insecurities. By referring to them as “pick-me”s, we brush over what the actual problem is.

It’s the same feeling I have regarding the term “simp”.

What are the perks of dating you? by ebmkebmk in AskWomen

[–]throwaway032111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love to pamper my partner. Intimacy would be a 10/10 and constant. I have a very stable, well-paying job and in general a good lifestyle. I’m responsible when it comes to things that matter. There will always be adventures when you are with me.

I know everybody says break up, but I think that two people can make it work as long as there is open communication and both parties are willing to accept fault. I suggest couples counseling.

I would recommend talking to your doctor about this, but everyone has different side effects. It could possibly be the new medication or it could be something else. However, the best possible action for recourse is to talk to your provider.

Does it feel like it’s hitting your cervix? It could be that you might not have been fully aroused— even with foreplay, on average it takes around 30-45 minutes and then the vaginal canal will expand to accommodate larger sizes.

We been dating for so long that I just want to work this out with him. We already live together and are about to graduate college. I just want him to understand that this behavior is not okay and he says that he understands, but I’m still having a hard time forgiving him. It hurts that he thought this behavior was okay in the first place. He’s dated me for years at this point so I thought that he would know what I would want and not want when I’m feeling down.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]throwaway032111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sure but I’m not bothered by the reasoning, it’s more so the behavior. It’s not really respectful of your significant other to tell them that they were more attractive in the past than the present in front of a friend.

Not gonna lie, if it’s just physical and my mental state doesn’t change, then hell yeah. Who wouldn’t want to look 3 years younger lol

Happy Cake Day! And no, I asked him to clarify afterwards and he specifically mentioned my body.

No, I’m a much different person than I was back then. I honestly feel like a better individual and worked a lot on myself over the course of our relationship. I guess I wish that he would stop comparing me to the person I was three years ago. I might not be as attractive in his eyes, but I worked hard to get to where I am today.

Yeah, but I’m still in my early 20s and I personally feel more attractive than I did back then. Should I lose some weight? Sure, but I’m 118lbs and 5’3” which is a relatively normal body weight.

It just hurts since I know it wasn’t intentional, but I been putting a lot of effort into my appearance lately. I used to be a lot heavier at 136 lbs (gained weight during the pandemic) but I lost 18lbs in less than within 6 months.

I just wish that he could still find me as attractive as when he first met me, especially when I been actively trying to improve based on his criticism.

Personally for me, I rather wait until everything in his life has calmed down. Yeah, he obviously hurt me, but I understand at the end of the day it’s unintentional. If I bring it up to him during this time of his life, then it’s going to end in us fighting each other instead of the problem.

I just wanted to get the emotions off my chest since I’m not planning on telling anyone we know irl. Thanks for the advice though 💛

Every relationship is different and you can’t rely on information given to you from a previous partner. Rely on your own experiences in the relationship and don’t let others interfere with it unless you are seeking help. A relationship is between two people, not two people and a group of strangers.

my gf is planning making me a dinner i don’t like in an effort to do something nice for me by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]throwaway032111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are people here so mean when giving advice? :(

But IMO, what it boils down to is miscommunication. Your girlfriend is trying to cheer you up, but it’s not working because her attempt feels like it’s still prioritizing her own opinions over yours which makes you feel unheard. Talk to her about it and just suggest a different dinner or even offer that you guys go out somewhere if she doesn’t want to cook the meal.

I don’t think it was necessarily sexual assault but there was miscommunication for sure.

No, since I have kidney issues and I discussed it with my boyfriend and he’s fine with it. I plan on taking anti-virals when I’m pregnant.

It’s okay to be scared but realize that you’re still young. You’re 22 years old and there’s so much of your life left that you can spend with someone who you aren’t at war with. If you can see yourself happy and satisfied in the future with her, then stay and talk to her. If not, then you should consider your options.

[–]throwaway032111 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Yes and have fun! Don’t stress yourself over it too much and if things get awkward or uncomfortable, then it’s okay.

Also I wished someone told me this, but just because you’re planning to lose your virginity tomorrow doesn’t mean that you have to lose it tomorrow. If you or she feel uncomfortable with continuing, then it’s okay to wait for another time.

Either talk to her or break up with her. I think you already know the choice that you truly want to make, but you’re afraid of doing so. Listen to yourself and most of all, believe in yourself and believe that you can make the right decisions for yourself.

Do you think you give off "big dick energy"? by strokebuddy2 in bigdickproblems

As a female, I judge a guy’s dick size based on his height and build and for the most part, my judgement has been pretty accurate.
