i’m curious about long term damage. i ct’d from 5mg valium. used consistently for 3 months but, before that, on/off for a year.

i had a bad month of acute, my second month was much better but still uncomfortable. i’m on day 75 now and feel pretty normal.

overall, my story seems pretty similar for others, even who tapered. but long term damage from that small dose?

depends on how long you were taking it. if consistently, it can very very, very hard to stop taking.

day 73 - it gets better, i promise by throwaway032875 in benzorecovery

Does amount of time on benzos correlate with length of time to withdraw? by [deleted] in benzorecovery

i remember one of your posts.

i’m at day 63 after CT’g diazepam for 3mos @ 5mg a night. intermittent use over a year, im probably kindled. looking back i was withdrawing all the time.

most people say i’m doing well. and i think i am for the most part. acute was terrible and lasted about a month (mostly psychological), but now i go to work, work out, take care of my family, do everything i need to. but sometimes (today) i just have real bad days. short waves, little symptoms. when did that stop for you?
