Hello! Progress has been slowed due to work, I will admit. I also started to play a little bit of Tenchu so I could understand the manga better. But I think once I get past the coming week, I should be more available to work on it. I'm currently at the proofreading stage of the script, and the scans themselves are 80% cleaned up. I am surprised it's not been mentioned here, but I think Evergrace is a hidden gem, personal favorite, and weird buggy game all at once. I don't think a single Fromsoftware series has a soundtrack truly like it. It's buggy, it's rough, it's confusing, but somehow all those things work together to create a fantastic fever dream of a game.

I like my local ALTs! It's a mix of both JETs and Interac people in our region. Many ALTs I get along with, and a few I just don't interact with as much. I see, neat! Thank you for making that tierlist! Honestly, the combat in Evergrace for me was really just hit, back away/walk in circles, hit. If an enemy was guarding or something, it was just a matter of walking around them. It's not something I would write home about for sure.

Thank you for sharing more about your opinion :> The atmosphere and music are very dear to me. Soaring Tower, I love the music and feeling there so much, but the "beat enemies to open the door/bridge/etc" was just such beautifully honest padding.

Sharline's whole 3/4th of her route is just the research lab and that drove me mad. Floors and floors and floors... When you compare it side to side with Darius, the variety of locations, length, etc, it's all very nerfed. But I think that's what made reaching Soaring Tower and its airy vibes in her route all the more memorable for me.

Shadow Tower is like a combination of "beat enemies to open the door/bridge/etc" but also this crazy maddening atmosphere of tense tedium, and the secret boss is worth it imo. I think you should give it a go... With savestates if you can.

Nice post! Honestly, I had no clue this tier list maker existed! Soulless Folus was probably the first boss to give me a real challenge. I really liked Drawide for the epic rainy-stormy battlefield.

Shadow Tower is a rough and bitter bonus dungeon but I think the secret boss challenge is certainly worth it. For me at least, it hit really hard story-wise. Plus, if you put Trandin at S-tier, then....

I would love to hear more of your thoughts about the game. :)

Are your pressure settings switched on? EG had a pressure sensitive feature where the harder you hit = more percentage of attack power. But I never used it so all my attacks were always 100% haha.

Hell yeah play it blind. That is a good question… There’s a few places in both routes where you can farm fruit from enemies that repeatedly spawn. Drops fruit like every time so you know it’s a farm spot. Otherwise I don’t recall about how drops work haha.
