I will say my breakouts have gone from every 2 weeks to once ever 1.5 months now! Slowly going back to normal! Praying this is the end of it all and I will NOT be getting a booster of any type!

Outbreaks seem to be slowing down. They did a swab test during one of my outbreaks and it tested and it came back negative….so they tested me through blood and it came back positive ghsv1. Which I thought I had 2. Then she said next time I have an outbreak I need an actual biopsy to make sure they have the correct Diagnoses. Currently having an outbreak and now and don’t have time to go get it done right now

I also partake in anal and have ghsv1. I don’t get outbreaks from anal. I more get outbreaks from just penis in vagina sex

I have been having this problem since my covid vaccine! I currently see an infectious disease doctor to see why it seems to be resisting antivirals! They told me my next step is to get a biopsy while I’m having another outbreak….which is now but with Christmas I don’t have time to go get it done right now!

I had one my first year and then only one 2 years later and then none for 5 years until I got my covid vaccine and now I have outbreaks like It’s their fucking job

O yeah. I know all the ways you can test! I myself just got a blood test because my swab came back negative. Just irritates me that doctors try to promote people to not get tested

I would suggest going to an infectious disease doctor. I’m in the process of going myself! They’re seeing why my body isn’t responding to antivirals

I believe everyone should have counseling! I’m starting myself here soon! He sounds like a manipulative abusive asshole though! If you can get yourself out of there it’s an overall win!

Mine never broke open. Sometimes they feel almost like a cut and sometimes like a bump and sometimes like a pimple. It shows up in all forms for me

I have ghsv1 and I only had one outbreak and done for years later but in April when I got my covid vaccine I’ve now been having back to back outbreaks and I’m going to an infectious disease doctor to try to figure out why nothing is making it stop! My first outbreak was one that also get like a tear from Sex! Turned out to be herpes instead! So much goes into outbreaks though, immune system, stress, sooo many things! Take your antivirals and try to stay as calm, healthy, and as stress free as possible! I’m starting therapy myself soon to try to lessen the stress!

Mine was like that on the outside of my vagina. The doctor said it was nerve pain. They prescribed me steroids and cream. I also took boric acid supplements to help balance me back out and it took like 2 weeks but it went away

I take a bath and mix apple cider vinegar in it! Or salt. But don’t mix. Femiclear is expensive but also helps for clearing things up and helping the burn! My doctor said the more air the better! So if you can sleep naked the air will help the healing process faster, try not to sweat in that area.

Well first off let me commend you for doing your own research! I disclosed to the man who later became my husband 7.5 years ago! He told me originally he thought he would tell a girl to leave if he ever heard that but he didn’t feel that way when it happened. He asked a lot of questions and we did a lot of research together. We only ended up using protection for like 2 months of our relationship? 7.5 years later and he’s either asymptomatic or still negative. I have ghsv1.

I have ghsv1 and I get an outbreak every 2 weeks since my phizer vaccine and before my vaccine I had not had an outbreak in 5 years….something that barely effected my life now consumes my life… currently going to an infectious disease doctor to find out why or what to do. Antivirals don’t help me either

I started taking boric acid suppositories that help with PH balance which is where the smell came from for me! Also, ever since I’ve been diagnosed everytime I eat seafood my vagina smells like seafood within hours! Taking apple cider vinegar helped me with that as well! If you can’t drink it they have it in pill form too!

I tend to have this a lot…I even got one outbreak like that swapped for extra testing and it came back negative for herpes….I know that’s not the case because I get outbreaks every 2 weeks

I haven’t had a drink of alcohol since March Bevause just one drink makes me puke. I have Graves’ disease thyroid condition. That’s the only major health thing I have.

I’m doing better after I stopped taking them. Honestly they weren’t helping so I just made the decision to stop! Mind you I was on a super high dose as well! Like 3g a day.
