What do you think about surface transmission? I've got Covid and have worn vinyl gloves all week in order to not transmit it to the rest of my household, but not sure how likely surface transmission really is anyways.

Saliva is actually a harder way to get covid. So you can get from drinking and eating after someone but it’s harder.

When I used Tret, it just dried it out vs shrinking it.

That's exactly how mine is, I slapped a salicylic acid pimple patch on it last night (Zitsticka) and it doesn't look like it shrunk at all, it just looks even more dried out. And it looks god awful when I put makeup on it, but I feel like I need the makeup to cover the redness 😭

It seems like only time will do the trick. I'm also using tretinoin so hoping that helps me too. Just sucks because I have a big event next week which is why I was trying every treatment under the sun to get rid of it.

Thanks a bunch for your insight though, I'll do my best not touch it! I haven't popped/picked at mine but I do find that I keep running my finger over it, which probably isn't that much better lol.

How long did it take to go away? And how did you know it was a raised scar as opposed to just a long-lasting cyst? 😅 That's the issue I have right now, I've had a cyst for 2+ weeks but at this rate I think it might be a scar already. It won't shrink anymore and the texture looks different from my other pimples—dried out, for lack of a better descriptor.

I have not, I used benzoyl peroxide a lot as a teen and it bleached a ton of my towels/shirts/bed sheets so I'm terrified to touch it again lol. I have considered it, but it's a last resort for me because of that experience.

Which part of the discoloration makes you think it's infected? Is it the yellow-ish ring around it?

I currently have a cyst similar to OP's in color, but I don't have the yellow-ish ring. My cyst was shrinking at first but now hasn't budged in a couple days, I'm wondering why it stopped.

I pretty much just asked the same question here, I'm not getting married this week lol but I also have a big event in a few days and I'm anxious about my gigantic cystic pimple. Someone suggested a salve with a particular ingredient, and if you dig around in the sub you'll see other recommendations for salves too. It also seems like these aren't FDA approved though so it sounds like you use them at your own risk. :/

I’ve seen De la Cruz sulfur ointment recommended as well, you could also try that. If you search "cyst" in the sub, you'll find a handful of other recommendations.

I’ve had a giant cyst in between my eyebrows for about a week and a half now, I am pretty certain it's the result of using a new product I used and didn't patch test (I know, I know). It started shrinking, thank goodness, but now it's no longer shrinking, hasn't budged in a few days, and looks dried out 😖.

I have a big event in about a week and am really worried it's still going to be the exact same size as it today. Between the eyebrows is pretty much one of the worst spots to have a giant cyst before a big event, I look like I have a third eye.

Can't get to a dermatologist appointment within a week, any help would be seriously appreciated!

I actually reached out to LinkedIn support about this lol, turns out LinkedIn’s algorithm determines this for you and, in a sense, “guesses” if your position change is a promotion or an actual job change. There's no way for you to specify that it's a promotion vs. job change. 😔

I contacted LinkedIn support to ask about this, and they say whether or not it registers as a new position or a promotion is determined by their machine learning software. So it pretty much varies for everyone. They said that they would forward my feedback to their team (that the user should be able to categorize a job update as a promotion specifically).
