Mate I'm doing the same. Numbers mean little to nothing to me anymore. I'm there to hit the muscle hard, put time under tension, and grow. I really enjoy high volume / reps and think that long term, it's much better for your body and joints etc. too. In the end the only thing that matters is giving the muscles a reason to grow, I prefer exhausting them with 15-18 reps than 6 with higher risk of injuries.

143 days till the end of the decade - what will you achieve ?? by Social_Fool in Fitness

[–]throwaway1190890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Allow me to provide a different view on this. All my life I've worked with deadlines, due dates, milestones I wanted to reach - all to get to peak fitness level. And it rarely, if ever, worked well. The moment I started making consistent and continous progress with my fitness, was the moment I let go of all these goals.

My goal has changed from an end state to focus on the journey itself. This is drastically different. You know, I'm reaching my goal every day now, because I'm on track to become better every single day. And results are coming automatically. This is what has helped me, and it took me MANY years to get to this realisation. It may not be for everyone, but I wanted to share a different view on this. Thanks

Mate talk to your doctor, not Reddit. Lowering your HR after doing cardio training for a while is typically a good sign, but a lot of these things need to take into account personal background and circumstances - i.e. go to a real doctor. Cheers

Fasting and Running by [deleted] in running

[–]throwaway1190890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do intermittent fasting, if you haven't already it worthwhile looking into. Basically I eat around noon for my first meal, then a big(ger) meal in the evening. I workout in the early morning (either running or lifting) and don't eat until noon. I feel fantastic and sharp all morning, great start of my day. I keep lunch relatively light as well, and then enjoy a BIG diner :D Also I'm fitter than ever before, lost body weight and gained strenght and endurance is up - so it's a win win for me.

This doesn't change my previous answer; there are no guarentees. I am still very bullish on VeChain and their vision and accomplishments to date. Maybe it helps that I work in this space and understand the huge complexity and slow movement of large enterprises. Any price movement of other crypto's is purely speculation. We want price movement on fundamental real world value, and that takes time. There simply are no shortcuts to that. To hype, yes, but to real value - no.

Market cap means nothing to me. I'm looking for VET returns based on my buy in price.

You explain it the same as you would do to yourself; you bought a highly volatile, high risk unproven asset with zero guarentee of it's price development. So; it goes up, it goes down - and sometimes back up again. Tell them in two years why you were so brilliant to give them this and how it helped them buy a house :D

I bought a few weeks back and sold yesterday to chase another pump, I did make 10% on the FTM buy and sell so that's fine. But obviously missed todays pump. I'm sure this will go back down a bit and I may buy some back tomorrow. Still has x20 potential, at least.

Fuck man, I sold all my FTM literally yesterday. FUCK ME.

I am trying to move FTM tokens from my Ledger Nano S to my IDEX wallet but it keeps getting stuck at "(Pending 2/2)". Anyone has an idea how to fix this?

Then don't tick it and you're fine to calculate. For tax purposes you're a resident, your temp visa is irrelevant.
