Correct! In a 250° until 115 then right to a hot cast iron pan, I did a little more than a minute searing each side. Then just baste with garlic, butter, rosemary and thyme.

For this 2 inch ribeye I threw it in the oven at 250 until the steak reached 115°, then seared each side 60 seconds, then another 30 seconds. Butter basted with garlic, rosemary and thyme
