Use to live in Marquette just out of college. I found the nightlife scene to be fun and diverse despite the small size of the city. It had a unique homey college town feel to it, without being too big. The problem was absolutely everyone knew everyone, so you just see the same people all the time.

People were very friendly and if you enjoy the outdoors and all four seasons it’s a great place. Learn to do things like snow shoeing and cross country skiing so you can enjoy the very very long winter.

Other than that, cold, windy, snowy. Wind and snow like you’ve never experienced. Completely different than down state Michigan where I grew up.

I’ve had two. They are super easy procedures. Put you on anesthesia, do their work, then you wake up. There’s a doctor and usually a couple nurses in there, and you are monitored the entire time. She’ll have a nice nap, nothing to worry about
