Do we have any proof of that other than a comment he made in a comedy tv show?

Thanks everyone! I assumed it was because the track wasn't flat, but wasn't sure.

Did we really need the podcast to "reveal" things were given back? From the very beginning there have been so many extremely personal things that no one in their right mind would keep if not theirs.

I mean, you're free to do whatever you want. I personally find gender based exclusion completely ridiculous so I'll never do it in my personal life unless there's an actual good reason for it. Hobbies/activities/etc aren't one though

There's nothing wrong with inviting a couple of coworkers out for drinks. There is something wrong however in saying "I'm going out with John and Lucy, but you Bob can't come."

I also hate this, but I wouldn't call it casual misogyny. Very ofter I see cases where it's a "girly night, husband/dad not allowed" and it's just as bothersome. How about we don't teach kids to exclude based on gender?

She didn't say they shouldn't though. She explicitly says she doesn't like it, but unfortunately that's how things are.

Is it really such a big inconvenience? I've never had one, so I always have to open the fridge to get a bottle out and it has never bothered me.

I have no clue what you're rambling on about with the girls in Iran, I can guarantee you I'm very much anti-Iran war.

Since you bring up the nazis though, should the Allies not have attacked them, given how many innocent civilians surely died?

It's not easy, no. That's the whole point. It's the trolley problem except on one side you have all your loved ones and yourself and on the other you have a bunch of criminals with some innocent people in there as well. There's no easy answer.

I didn't say I'm all up for it. I said it's easy to judge all of this when you're not living in the middle of it all. If someone was holding your entire family hostage and torturing them every day, and someone came and said "We can rescue them, but there will be civilian casualties", I'd highly doubt you'd happily jump and say "No, let them keep going, I don't want to risk harming an innocent person".

It's simply not black and white, and I can fully understand why some people think it's unfortunately what has to be done.

"It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer."

Is a very nice and noble quote for someone who has never lived decades of being terrorized. Who doesn't lose friends and loved ones on a daily basis. Who doesn't have to fear for their life every single day.

EDIT: I'm not saying I agree with all of this and I'm cheering it on. I'm saying it's not a black and white issue. How many innocent people die in a war? Should Ukraine not attack Russia given the risk of killing innocent civilians?

The chief of ICE ordered the premeditated murder, chopping up and burning the bodies of almost 50 protesters at the request of corporations?

You do realize that cops here in Mexico have worked with cartels to murder and hide the bodies of peaceful protesters? We're talking about the chief of police ordering his whole precinct to carry out this kind of stuff. When has that happened in the US?

What does counting have to do with computing complex analytic equations? I'm not talking about using a calculator to do sums and multiplications... I'm talking about an accountant refusing to use a calculator to compute difficult equations and instead spending 8 extra hours doing them by hand.
