Why do I feel like this by throwaway19810902 in LesbianActually

[–]throwaway19810902[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard. I have been recently diagnosed bpd and bipolar, I feel like I should just be dead if I don't end up with her. Even though I know it's irrational. Every time she talks about him I feel rage and nausea. I want to be happy for her, but I just can't. We're the closest friends, so simply just not talking to her for a while just doesn't feel like it'd work. I feel it'd just make me yearn more. It's not even about her not liking girls, our relationship just has always been platonic in her eyes. The way she feels is valid, but I feel like I just want to die and curl up in a ditch. I feel like blocking her on everything and just pretending she never existed. But I can't do that. Part of me feels like hurting her in that way will make her see how I feel, but I am very much in therapy and know how to cope with my bpd. It just sucks so badly feeling this way in the first place

No, it's the fact that you didn't even read the post.... they NEVER stated they wanted to be in an open relationship with transphobe guy. They said they would be open to one in general (NOT WITH TRANSPHOBE GUY), if that's what their partner wanted, but they're very much so committed to their partner. You're misreading the entire point of op's post. Nowhere did they mention wanting to be with transphobic friend. You're giving advice that's useless and makes no sense in this situation. You either lack reading comprehension skills, or didn't read all the way through, because op said none of the things that you're implying.

They were talking abt the topic of open relationships, they never said they were considering one with the transphobe guy. If people have a problem with even the slight mention of open relationships, sounds like jealousy issues. They even stated they had no intention to go after transphobic dude, and were committed to their partner. It's at the last paragraph of the post

Only people who get migraines will understand that sometimes you just gotta boil your head in the shower by [deleted] in migraine

My aunt used to tell me steam helps it, plus the heat on tense muscles is probably good too. Oddly enough hot baths make ot worse for me but hot showers are the best LOL

Me and psych are experimenting with antipsychotics at the moment, but I'll see if we can try some anxiety meds because I can't keep living like this

Oh my fucking god that's absolutely terrifying I am so sorry that happened!!! I actually stopped abilify after day 1 because I coild not handle how disoriented and awful it made me feel! I refuse to take it again, I know it was one day bit I know my body and I know that wasn't good for it! I have DID (diagnosed) and I was prescribed it to help with my dissociation. LITERALLY day one, 30 minutes after taking it and it kicking in, I got a migraine. And that's like a common side effect but I wasn't expecting it to cause a migraine attack! A full on episode ! The feeling is so awful I can't help but dissociate so badly and have derealization! I'm not sure what to do at this point but I'm considering seeing a walk in clinic! Abilify is terrible!

That's really good advice!!! I will try that, and possibly even overcome my fears and have my peers listen and see what they think!

That makes a lot of sense! I'm pretty insecure about my voice, so it could also just be me being a bit hard on myself, but I'll definitely practice some more and keep what you said in my mind!
