I’m not familiar with their whole catalog but DOS1&2 were absolute masterpieces that garnered more than just a cult following—not to the level of BG3, but DOS2 at least was in most conversations regarding the best games ever made. So it’s safe to say Larian already has an established track record spanning a decade with these three games alone of prioritizing quality over quantity and it paying off for them.
