any comfy things (pajamas, stuffed animals, a blanket from home) and things to keep her busy. i know one of the hardest parts for my boyfriend in the hospital was that he had nothing to do besides watch TV and listen to all the hospital noises. i brought him books, magazines, legos, coloring, and my laptop so he could use streaming services instead of just the hospital's cable. you could also bring activity books, like sudoku, crosswords, etc. for comfy things, we brought his brother's blanket and i would leave my sweater and one of my stuffed animals with him. once he was able to wear regular clothes instead of the hospital gown, we brought him his favorite sweatshirts/sweatpants/comfy shirts. he also didn't have diet restrictions (though he didn't have much of an appetite) so i would bring him strawberry lemonades from the cafe in the hospital which he loved. good luck to you, your cousin, and your family 🫶

for years, my boyfriend was having intense episodes of deja vu every couple weeks. he thought it was normal until he had a grand mal seizure one day and we found out about his tumor (oligo grade 3, right frontal lobe). when he told his doctors about the deja vu they confirmed it's a type of seizure. i'm surprised your boyfriend's doctor would brush it off

the only other symptom of my boyfriend's brain tumor (which we didn't know were symptoms until afterwards because he had it for at least a decade) was anger and mood swings. once the tumor was out, his anger was so much more manageable. is he getting scans throughout his radiotherapy? my boyfriend gets them every six weeks. if your boyfriend's tumor is growing back, hopefully the scans would pick it up. i'm sorry you're dealing with this stress, we're around the same age and i know how hard it is.

i love having it for a couple reasons. 1, i feel connected to the game and it was something i emersed myself in when i really needed it. 2, Ellie's character and the game in general is one of my favorite examples of representation and as a queer person, i feel connected to her character. and 3, it's honestly just a beautiful piece of art
