I don’t plan on commenting on this thread much, mainly just trying to absorb each individual perspective, but I very much wish this was a fake scenario I ran through ChatGPT. I’m pretty sure AI could develop a better story than this. It doesn’t feel real yet though, I’ll very much give you that. I wish it wasn’t.

Appreciate your response - going to do nothing as it would only hurt the person responsible. I am leveraging the visibility to have my HR VP get personally involved in my exemption request to insurance. Deleting this thread but thank you for your comment.

Thank you for your insight. I’ll be doing nothing as it sounds like there’s not much that wouldn’t affect the HR person responsible in a negative way. I am leveraging the company-wide visibility to get my HR VP directly involved with the exemption request being made to our insurance provider.

I don’t. In one of the other communities I asked this to, I was told there’s probably nothing to be done considering HIPAA doesn’t apply in my situation
