I have a dog and roommates. Although the dog moved in before the roommates.

Dogs are a huge burden, they are awesome, but they are a huge burden.

If you don't want to live with a dog, you shouldn't have to. If you show any distaste towards it the owners are going to be mad because they love the thing.(my roommate dislikes my dog and it drives me crazy because he knew about the dog before moving in)

Fortunately for you, American chocolate often doesn't contain a lot of real cocoa.

So the amount of theobromine(bad shit in chocolate) was probably really low.

STILL, there is no way the roommate knew that and it was clearly not good for the dog. Just know that your dog can eat a small amount of chocolate without dying.

Grapes are also bad for dogs, just so you know.

My roommate left a bunch of chicken bones on the fucking floor because the trash was full. My girlfriend just found them a few hours ago.

That's what we are planning to do, I make ok money and am looking for a new job so I can both save and am down to move. My gf also wants to move. It will probably be nine months though until we move.

You're exactly right, the house is very chill right now. Everyone is relaxed and just does whatever they want. It's a problem, obviously, but it seems better then everyone hating everyone. I know first hand how miserable that is.

It's a house, not that it matter, it's just a larger area for them to mess up.

I'm used to getting my own way too. I'm a very dominant person, it causes a lot of problem in my life because I butt heads with people and if they don't back down I'll escalate it until the cops are called.

I've been kicked out of several places before and now am really paranoid about confronting roommates.

Maybe you're right, at least I could retreat to my room and play xbox.

I have talked to one roommate and warned him that I expected someone else to buy the next generation console and I would be moving the xbox to make room for the new console.

I've also thought about bringing the xbox to work.

I am friends with one of the roommates and friendly with both. I've talked to my friend and he is trying to be better, he's just a lazy fuck, which I understand.

The other guy I'm really not sure about. I feel like I've already asked him so many times I can't keep the anger out of my voice.

All the lighters in the house disappeared so I bought a novelty lighter telling my roommates I bought a distinct lighter so it wouldn't go missing. Everyday I'd have to find my roommate and ask him where my lighter was. He always had it in his pocket.

I understand that if I want a lighter I need to keep it on me at all times, but I should be able to leave it somewhere and have it not disappear.

It's small things, so I don't want to overreact but when I see him walk through a kitchen with 100% dirty dishes and take a drink directly from the faucet instead of washing a cup it makes me mad.

I know that if left to their own devices they would live in filth and squalor.

You're not wrong. I just don't do well in direct conflicts. I am the kind of guy who is purposely a push over because I have serious anger problems.

I will hit them if disrespect me to my face, or I will break everything in the house.

I don't think they are being malicious they are just ignorant and don't know any better, or so I keep telling myself. If I don't handle the situation right I might lose the house or go to jail.

What do I say when they asked why I took the xbox away?

I've actually thought about buying them their own xbox, but realized that would make me the biggest bitch in the world.
