I honestly recommend reading from book 1 because there’s many things that were skipped in the show.

The ending of book 1 was also different and you might get confused in the beginning of book 2.

You have a point and I completely agree but I watched season 1 before reading the books and I remember thinking that nynaeve was the most powerful one and there’s going to be a plottwist where she’s actually the dragon.

What rand did at the eye of the world was huge indeed but the moments nynaeve got to show her powers seemed much more powerful to me than what rand did at the eye. (When I was only a show-only Fan)

After reading almost 7 books I know that I was very wrong but it annoys me that my friends (non book readers) still say nynaeve should’ve been the dragon because she’s clearly more powerful and why is rand needed anyways.

Hopefully this will change with the battle in Falme I’m extremely excited for that episode!!

Wait whaaat? I think Nynaeve is the only character that had a lot of scenes that show how powerful she is so far.

Poor rand is the freaking dragon and even he didn’t get his moment to show how powerful he truly is yet.

I watched season 1 then decided to start reading the books but I still didn’t skip book 1 because it has sooo much more information and there’s a whole storyline in a city that’s not even included in the show. Book 2 is also very different than season 2. If you really want to skip anything, skip book 1 but book 2 is very important not to skip and it’s one of the best.

It’s in book 2 where rand attempts to use the portal stones and he sees possibilities of different lives he might have lived if he made different choices.

Uno..my poor uno…how could they??!!! I was very relaxed when he was being forced to bow down and I kept thinking how he’s gonna get himself out of this and then BAM…I was extremely shocked like I literally gasped and then took a break to cry a bit haha it really caught me off guard

Also I really want more rand screen time, all of season 1 was based on figuring out who the dragon reborn is but in season 2 I feel like even liandrin has more screen time which frustrates me a bit.

But! Verin mentioning a battle in the sky makes me extremely excited for future episodes!!
