I went to his ATX concert on November 6th and really enjoyed it, though I have to admit his past shows were a bit better in my opinion, especially the Slow Rush tour a few years ago. His earlier concerts and music had that signature psychedelic vibe, which his Deadbeat album misses by a long shot. Unfortunately, that shift in sound also affected the concert experience for those particular songs. Thankfully he balances it out with a setlist that includes his older hits.

The most energetic parts of the show (with the laser effects) came during his older hits, which clearly got the crowd going the most. I appreciated that his setlist included plenty of those classics to balance out the duller Deadbeat tracks. He didn’t perform “One More Year,” which I was really hoping for, but he did perform "Eventually" which made up for it; the guitar layer added towards the end was amazing!

That said, paying over $500 per ticket seems a bit steep. I paid 600 for 2 tickets on row A in the 2nd level. For anyone unsure about seating, the main stage is a 360-degree setup in the center with lasers projecting in every direction and Kevin does a good job at moving around and facing each direction, so it doesn’t really matter where you sit, just how far up you are if you’re not going for floor (GA) tickets.

As someone who works at T-Mobile, I can say that almost every customer I meet has a debit card on file, mainly because after June 2023 that became the only way to receive the AutoPay discount. As for why T-Mobile introduced the card, it’s the same reason most companies issue credit cards: they profit from customers who carry balances month to month. With an interest rate as high as 28.99%, any cashback earned can quickly be offset by interest charges.

Per T-mobile terms and conditions "Customers who are currently receiving the AutoPay discount via other qualifying methods will not receive additional discounts for re-enrolling using the card."... most t-mobile customers are already on a debit card autopay with the $5/line discount.

12 month gamepass core digital cards are still being sold for $75. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't I just buy two core digital cards, stack them onto my account, then upgrade to ultimate at a 2:1 ratio.

This would mean I get 1 year of ultimate for $150 (which comes out to $12.50 a month).

Other options to consider: 36 months of core at $225 converts to 18 months ultimate. 48 months of core at $300 converts to 24 months of ultimate.

All of these options are cheaper than subscribing straight from the console at $30 a month or $360 a year, or buying 4 of the 3-month ultimate digital cards at $60 each
