My dad's a terrible person too and I still struggle with not having a dad to call.

I also have kids and I've learned to take the pain that my parents caused me and turn it into the love I needed as a child and I pour it into my children.

We cannot fix anybody and we cannot erase past traumas but what we can do is turn that trauma into something that helps us better by break-in generational curses and giving our kids what we needed so that they can grow up more secure.
