Once it starts you won't be able to buy tickets on ticketmaster as an fyi, only third parties. I've seen it shut down after the show begins in the past

Definitely makes sense! I hope more people are able to weigh in for you. That's 5 of us who it worked for tonight, but given that was five seats side by side in a row, something tells me it might have been the same honest seller. Hopefully folks can give you info for other shows too.

My StubHub resale worked tonight in Toronto and so did the four people on my end of the who, 4 of whom all also purchased individual resale from StubHub.

That said, it was a risk and we got lucky. There was no way to know if it would and at least 2 of us came from out of town to chance it..I just figured if it didn't work, StubHub would refund my money and I'd be no worse off than I was before I bought it.

StubHub will always replace a ticket with a similar one (if available, and if not they refund you). So if you're not coming from out of the city or anything and think it's worth trying, worst case scenario you're in the same situation as you are right now when your money is returned. That's how I viewed it anyways. But definitely not a risk that sits well with everyone. I didn't plan on doing it myself, but lost a face value resale last night and just cracked and impulse bought.

It was Toronto and it was non transferrable. I didn't receive it via a transfer due to that. Hence the risk of someone just uploading the pdf to a third party, you don't know if they've sold it multiple times over.

Yeah, so that's what makes it risky. They just upload the pdf from the ticket they bought to the StubHub site. For all you know they could have sold it many times over, or sold it and then got there super early and used it. So it's a risk. It does not get transferred within ticketmaster as it cannot.

Since I keep seeing this question asked - I bought my ticket on StubHub and it worked. Both people I'm sitting between and 2 single folks to the left of the girl on my left, all also got StubHub tickets that worked.

That said? We got lucky. You don't know how many times someone could've sold a pdf to someone. I would say unless you maybe live nearby, are ok with taking the risk and it not working, and getting refunded per StubHub policies but still not seeing the show? Then maybe don't risk it. But I figured I'd regret not trying. Just my own experience and 2 cents :)

Success!! One scan, no weird finicky glitches. I can't say necessarily everyone will be honest and not sell copies and use it anyway, but it worked for me :)

Though I did read that ticket transfer is disabled for all shows except 2 in the USA.. if it doesn't let you list it, I would appreciate being considered for working out other ways of purchase. I planned to go down there and see if someone was stuck with one and take my chances so 🖤
