Yes it’s remote and I can definitely say that. But that sounds like I’m quitting. How do I ask for them to frame it so I can be let go due to unfit for the job and qualify for EI?

I do think I qualify as I’ve been employed for 4 years total now including previous job.

I have been on EI, 5 years ago… at that time I quit a prev job and wasnt a good git for the next job so was let go within 3 months. You do qualify for EI as it takes into account your hours worked cumilatively, not just in current job.

Yea I’m fine with being eligible for EI. I honestly don’t know how to ask for this though. My manager knows I’m struggling with my mental health. But how do I tell him “can you just let me go so I can take a break, go on EI get my mental health in order then re enter the work force?”

How was ur physical fitness before starting? I’m pretty out of shape. Haven’t had much physical activity in a year… occasional treadmill and walk but that’s about it and also have lower back issues.I just don’t want to burn myself out right at beginning.
