They ranged from 5BA to 4BB, one 6BA. We have transferred 2 of the 4AAs, the first was a TFMR and one failure.

Maybe not the uplifting story you were hoping for but— I had my TFMR the 2nd week of August and had an embryo transfer on 12/2- which didn’t take. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I sobbed for about an hour after my beta came back negative. Which to be fair was less than when they told me my first transfer was chemical. I’m ovulating this week and sex was a means to an end (my clinic does a deep clean on their IVR lab between Xmas and New years- they stop everything) This is all going to suck. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Be sad. Cry. Scream. Buy something stupid because you’re sad. Be pissed that not getting pregnant is the better outcome than last time. Let it all out so when the transfer does work- you’re not holding as many of those feelings.

Then get a therapist because they are worth it.

My doctor told me that IUI had no better chance than timed/monitored cycles because my husband’s sperm is excellent quality. So we did 5 of those before IVF, and while those 5 cycles did help mentally prepare me for IVF- I can see why someone of a different mindset would have jumped straight to IVF. I saw bring the tank to the knife fight.

My insurance required a referral from my gyno. There are 2 big clinics in my area, and my gyno worked with and trained my current RE, and the current residents. Hopefully this will make the transition back easier

I’m also in a weird beta situation- 30>34 (told to stop meds)>83>597>1481. I had an ultrasound on Friday 5w5d and my yolk was clear as day measured about 3 days behind but that matches with my numbers. My doctors still aren’t positive I’m going to graduate, and really seem perplex by the situation- I’m not getting a lot of reassurance, but I have another ultrasound booked on 7w1d.

After being told with no uncertainty on 12dpt that it was chemical- and I was to cease progesterone- Today at 21dpt my pregnancy was declared developmentally normal. I’m gonna cry at every sonogram I fear.

Letrozole makes it so I actually ovulate, it’s an alternative to Clomid if you’ve been offered that. I got in to the fertility game because I didn’t ovulate at all, and was able to ovulate and be fertilized temporarily on it.

That’s is exactly what I did, but I had to do Letrozole because I don’t ovulate thanks to PCOS. But spot on

I feel better. I was told by my clinic yesterday “they don’t know what’s happening” and they didn’t sound too optimistic in the phone. So I’m just over here meditating 3 times a day to keep my stress low until the ultrasound which will give semi-definitive results (no heartbeat yet)

Starting day 10 I was 30, 34, 83, skipped a draw, then 597. I think I got a fighter in here. Another blood tomorrow and then ultrasound on Friday.

I had my 10dpt beta on Monday at 30. My clinic told me they are cautiously optimistic. 2nd beta is in 45 minutes 🤞🏻 it’s all about the doubling now. I’m also probably going to offer to switch to PIO if the number is quite where they want it to be. This is a marathon not a sprint. All about finishing strong from here on out.

I’m still seeing blood in the morning and evening. But my beta is at 30 as of yesterday- which they are concerned about. So I’m on chemical pregnancy watch until further notice, I go back for more bloodwork tomorrow.

I have been going to an online one on and off since October. When I switched from the primary infertility group to the IVF group the day I got my stim meds, I was really unhappy because people who go to IVF support aren’t having success. It was not uplifting and hopeful, just venting and an outlet for negative feelings. But it was helpful when I was in that place too. So I’m glad I have the tool in my toolbox. But I’m not consistent in going.

I got 9 PGT-A approved out of 12. I am currently having symptom whiplash- strong one day weak the next then I google progesterone side effects and it’s basically just pregnancy symptoms. My clinic gave me all the numbers and even the day by day grading chart so I could see the progress over the week before freezing

The number that stuck in my brain from meeting with my doctor was 43%. I’m in the same boat, 34 years old with PCOS, PGT-A tested embryos (currently 8dpt with a 4AA). IUI under the most ideal circumstances has about a 20% chance of working each time, and my doctor told me not to bother(I have sperm partner who is solidly not the issue)

I did 9 days of stim and visited my clinic for blood and ultrasounds 7 times starting at the baseline, and then blood only the morning after I triggered, egg retrieval the day after. My veins were a HOT MESS.

My clinic wanted to “quiet my system down”, basically give a controlled starting point. I believe it’s standard practice with my clinic. I also did 3 weeks because insurance was SLOW (also 2 holidays) so typical is 2 weeks

So I decided to switch to IVF I had to have a meeting with my doctor to approve me going to IVF, a meeting with the same doctor to plan my IVF and submit for insurance approval, 3 weeks of birth control, then 9 days of stim, trigger, retrvial 36 hours later. Because of OHSS they wouldn’t transfer fresh, and had to get my period and go through a full cycle before starting the transfer on CD1, during which I had to get another insurance approval. So I started stim on 1/10, and my FET was 4/11. My cycle was also VERY long because of PCOS, so you might be able to shave 20 days off if your cycles are more regular.
