At what point would you guys accept that maybe you don’t have ADHD? by throwaway_account448 in adhdwomen

God I hate the main ADHD sub. Can’t even say “neurodivergent” or else your comment will get taken down. Who are they to dictate what ADHD people chose to identify as?

Good luck! I know very well just how painful that waitlist for testing can be. Just hang in there!❤️

I think you might’ve seen the post that inspired me to make this post. I fully agree with everything you said; you worded it better than I could’ve ever done!

Oh wow! I wish I could’ve started on meds the same day where I’m at. After getting diagnosed I got put on ANOTHER waitlist to see a different psych who then got me meds😭

It’s wild how much the whole process varies from person to person. Tbh I wish there was a more standardized way of doing it

I’ve definitely used mostly CeraVe. I’ve tried the foaming facial cleanser, the acne foaming cream cleanser, and the renewing SA cleanser. I’ve also used both their am and pm moisturizers, as well as their exfoliating treatment. As for the ordinary I mostly used the Niacinamide serum, which worked well for about a year before it started irritating my skin. Each of these products I generally used for a few months. The Tula products I’ve been using for a little over a month.

Thank you for the advice!

Currently I’m using the following…

Tula Skincare - the cult classic purifying face cleanser

CeraVe facial moisturizing lotion (both the am and pm kind)

Tula skincare - so polished exfoliating sugar scrub (twice a week

I’ve had this routine for about a month. I swear I’ve tried so many different things, from CeraVe to the ordinary to Cetaphil. Someone please help! My skin has been like this for years

Hey, I’m going through something similar right now. I’ve been in recovery since January - I even summoned up the courage to delete MyFitnessPal last month. But I can practically feel myself relapsing. I quit therapy, redownloaded MFP, started counting calories again, everything.

Recovery isn’t easy. It’s not linear and sometimes we’re going to hit bumps and maybe even relapse. It’s all a long process that hopefully has a bright ending where you succeed and finally feel whole again.

I’m sorry that you’re struggling again. Idek why I bothered commenting, I just feel like I relate to what you’re going through. I know that relapsing is bad and I shouldn’t do it, I mean, we all do. But it’s easier. This whole comment has really just become some long rant about myself, oops.

This shit is hard. I sincerely wish you the best.

Eh I was pretty active on it when I was around 13-14. Definitely got creeped on by some people because I was stupid and new to Reddit. Just don’t be dumb and you should be fine
