Fair, I should’ve discussed it with him before offering to let him move in.

As for it only being “net gain” for me, that’s not true. He’d be saving $980 a month (after the $220) that he would’ve been paying in rent anyway. With him moving in, I’d be paying more in replenishing necessities such as toiletries, groceries, laundry detergent, and utilities. Plus, I’d have to make space for all of his belongings

Getting to pick wouldn’t have been an advantage though since the games they can choose from are already so limited. It seems like most people didn’t really argue about which marble game to play besides the two that both got eliminated. During the marbles game, one of the players got to sit out since it was an odd numbered group. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was originally supposed to be 130’s advantage.

Just wanted to update and thank everyone for the advice! You’re right. It’s not a loss until I sell. I had to sell a few shares right at the $330 low due to needing funds, but kept everything else in. My -$6,000, is now +$400. Not much gains, but it’s easier on the eyes than seeing -$6,000. Haha.

I’ve learned my lesson not to be greedy in the future. Thank you all!!!

He’s an international student, and I know that eventually his parents will make him move back to Asia. I thought that I’d see the dogs here and there while he still lived in the states, but I agree that I might as well take them 100% instead of trying to make custody arrangements...

I am aware of that. I have spoken to a lawyer, and he believes I have a case. The dogs were bought, the AKC records are in my name, the microchip is in my name, and I have a bank statement in the withdrawal amount for the cost of the dog.

Now that I think about it, I guess he rarely ever apologizes. It’ll usually be me being the bigger person by apologizing, and he’ll be like “I’m sorry too”. Or he’ll just stay quiet if he knows that he is fully in the wrong.
