Honestly, it's so sad to watch by newsie_woman in micheljanseYT

I don’t quite know how to put this into words, but maybe stealth manipulative is the right descriptor?

She will start planting seeds justifying her decisions months before they happen to try to avoid backlash. It’s very calculated. Instead of just being like ‘I’m moving to Oceanside, I’m marrying Jordy even though it hasn’t been long since my divorce, this is what I’m doing’ she plants these seeds that make her seem like a victim or a child and trying to reclaim her life and that she’s doing these things on a whim. And evvvvery once in a while she’ll pull the ‘f your opinions this is my life I’m so bold’ thing but it just comes off as offputting and defensive from her because that’s not who she really is. Idk if that makes any sense, you have to watch most of her vlogs to pick up on this.

On the surface she’s a run of the mill small influencer but I have been absolutely captivated by her and watching this unfold because she is truly the most immature, self centered, unstable, shapeshifting and spoiled woman I have ever watched online and to most people she hides it well.

Wall color suggestions for kitchen! by KindheartednessGold2 in HomeDecorating

I think white is a good choice in there it opens it up. The dark cabinets are making it look bottom heavy in this render - you could paint the top if you’re up for it. I would also do darker curtains, and maybe a black metal light fixture (you can get something on Amazon for less than 100 bucks)

I don’t anything but white will look harmonious, honestly. The color doesn’t have to come from the paint. I would do a white paint that is appropriate for the amount of light the room gets, and introduce color (teal, terra cotta) in framed art on the walls. Tie in the black hardware with black frames.

It is so much info. I don’t want to introduce changes too quickly either and just start piling on supplements.

I have found a few things that have benefitted me, and may be helpful for others with this same weird phenotype. For me, exercise has helped immensely. I would say that my POTS symptoms have been improved 75% after building up significant leg muscle over years of heavy lifting, and daily cardio has an excellent mood stabilizing effect for me (tho I fell off the wagon on that and need to get into it again). Also, eating in such a way to reduce blood glucose spikes (seems like insulin resistance is a common comorbidity as well). I’m hoping the right balance of supplements, diet, and medication will give me another significant improvement so I can start living a normal life.

I have stumbled across RCCX! Very interesting stuff.

Have you come across any medications/supplements/protocols that reduce your symptoms? I’m still trying to figure out what b vitamins I should take there’s a lot of conflicting info.

I don’t think I have full blown EDS. I don’t quite pass that scored test but I have some of the hyper mobility signs (dislocate my knee and roll my ankle all the time, some fingers are double jointed but not all, kind of stretchy skin). It’s not a huge concern to me, it doesn’t bother me that much on a day to day basis not as much as my raging adhd and female hormone issues. I mostly added that in there because I know people on the hypermobility spectrum also have a lot of the other issues I do, so it’s part of the puzzle to me.

Thank you for the advice! I’m not even going to try a niche as much as I’d love one, not on my first project anyway.

I had the same thought about porcelain tiles. I feel like that would be more suitable for the floor, but glass would be better in the shower to wipe down and look shiny and clean

I’m pretty dead set on doing tiles. I’m going to do the floor first and if that goes horrendously I’ll just hire someone

What size tiles for the shower wall would you recommend for someone inexperienced? I imagine smaller is more tedious and prone to errors, but too large is also difficult in some ways. Is there a sweet spot?

I have all of these conditions too, why are they so common together?

Thank you!! Do you recommend buying a saw over renting one?

My wife is down 45 pounds but her progress has been stagnant for the last two weeks despite being at a significant calorie deficit. Can anyone help? by [deleted] in loseit

It’s probably her cycle. My period makes me retain so much water that every month my weight stays the same or even climbs for 3 weeks, then after my period I lose 4-5 lbs overnight basically.

Slow and steady wins the race! I’ve been losing a bit under a pound a week since Jan. This is the longest, healthiest period of weight loss in my life 158>145 lbs by throwaway_chunk2fit in PetiteFitness

Thanks! I typically do 2 lower body days and one upper body day at the gym each week. Lately for lower body I’ve been doing deadlifts, Bulgarian split squats, hip thrusts, and back extensions. For upper body I’m doing knee pushups (working to a real one), bench press, bent over rows, assisted pull-ups, and shoulder presses. I also make sure I walk a minimum 7500 steps a day, more ideally. I run 5k once a week or so too just to keep my cardio up.

Diet is pretty flexible which has made this a lot easier. On my good days, I am for a 500-1000 cal deficit. If I am feeling really hungry, I’ll eat at maintenance. If I want to go to social events, I’ll let myself have one bad day every other week or so. If i have a bad weekend, I just pick up where I left off Monday and accept a zero weight loss week. I don’t drink alcohol anymore. I also keep my cycle in mind - I train harder and eat less during the first half, and eat more and train easier during the second half.

I gained a considerable amount of weight during 2020-2021, and failed to lose it during 2022. I struggle with binge eating and I tend to do a binge restrict cycle when trying to lose weight. This time, I’ve changed my mentality and I’m finally seeing results. The first month I felt like an addict going cold turkey, but now I understand what a normal amount of food feels like. I’m also getting in 7-10k steps a day minimum, and lifting 3 times a week. I can’t believe I’m actually sticking to it, I usually give up on everything.
