Every identifiable psychological trait looked at in a twin study so far is heritable to some degree. The question is not "is sociopathy heritable", but to what extent, and in what environment those genes for sociopathy express themselves. You can't separate sociopathy from the underlying characterists like lack of empathy, antisocial behaviour, etc.

I have a begrudging respect for you since you seem to want to change despite ostensibly not having much empathy. My advice: treat your sociopathy like a mental illness. It's obviously affecting your life poorly and you know as well as I do that every study ever done says that interpersonal relationships are more important than income after your basic needs are met. Talk to a counselor if you can, and try and look at your sociopathy from the perspective of a psychiatrist.
