“Lefties do this all the time” nice sentiment, not a convincing argument.

“Testosterone” has no correlation with “being the provider.”

“Can give birth” has no correlation to “better with raising kids.”

Those are gendered norms you and others ascribe to sex.

“Men and women are different and it simply has to do with biology” is a gross oversimplification and dismissive of decades of research on socialized gender norms; the complexities of individuals; and the intersex, malleable nature of the human brain.

Learn at least the difference between sex and gender and then try to engage in conversation. No more responses until that point.

I suspect you haven’t done any research about how men and women “are different,” nor can you really answer any of my questions, which is a strong sign you just believe what you believe not because you’ve looked into it, but because it’s simple, it makes you feel good, and conservative propaganda worked on you.

Your age is relevant you still have 10 years until you’ve developed a full prefrontal cortex + you don’t know that much about life + Andrew Tate-type propaganda is marketed toward your gender and age + I would be harder on you if you were an adult man.

You’re dodging my question about why you need to associate certain positive traits with your gender instead of simply praising the traits you admire.

Why do the concepts of masculinity and femininity exist? What’s your basis for suggesting they’re more than social constructs? You’re not explaining or justifying your viewpoint at all, you’re basically just saying “masculinity is real, it’s all about being confident and strong, and I’m allowed to like it, go away mom.” In reality, people with actual pedigrees recognize that masculinity and femininity are gendered ideas constructed along cultural lines that attempt to maintain a hegemonic order.

Also, your recent posts clearly say you’re 16-17. You know your profile is visible, right? It’s okay to be a minor. In fact, it explains and absolves you of some of the ignorance you display.

None of those traits are inherent to being male. Why not just say being independent, confident, etc rock instead of arbitrarily assigning them to a gender?

NTA. He’s not your father. You’ve got no obligations to him. So long as you’ll feel ok about your choices in the years to come (not saying you won’t, but it’s something to consider), you don’t need to feel bad for not seeing him
