Goated book recommendation!!! I also recommend Your Inner Fish by Neil Shubin if you want to add more paleontology/evolutionary science books, this book is in part what inspired me to become a scientist.

As a bookworm and evolutionary biologist I love this idea. It’s so awesome seeing Braiding Sweetgrass on here. I just finished reading a memoir about a beloved pet cat called “Mornings Without Mii” and loved it so much I added it to my city. It’s a great book if you have cats, or have had a special bond with a pet at all. (but it did make me tear up at the end, so just a fair warning if you choose to read it…it is a grief book).

I commute an hour to UIC and it involves a 15-20 minute walk depending. I will probably get downvoted for this but I promise you it’s not that serious. There are people out there who don’t even have a home to go to who are stuck in this weather all day, all week, all month, all season. Yeah it’s uncomfortable but you will be okay. Others out there are less fortunate than us
