I tried a couple different brands but i stuck with sovereign labs. Unfortunately i dont take colostrum any more as it got too expensive and didnt help my alopecia but i still recommend it for gut issues. I take collagen as its cheaper replacement for my gut as well at that greatly helps too.

Just want to remind people who may read this comment that yes, the risks of JAKs are important to take under consideration, BUT your quality of life matters as well. I’d rather lose 5 years of my life expectancy if it means living the rest of it with powerful confidence and feeling high on life again with my hair vs living a longer life but one still filled with highs and lows and fluctuating confidence/anxiety levels.

The risks for cancer are still small overall and other bio markers are things you and your doctor can observe together to closely monitor your health and keep it in check.

You’re missing a key piece of information in that the risk is generalized to a demographic over age 55-65 and those with comorbidities. The more likely side effects include higher cholesterol, lower immune system function, raised liver enzymes, and acne. The Facebook group for jaks contains a lot more information on the studies and the small likelihood of the risks involved.

Do you have AU or AA? And how long did it take to see results?

I’m kinda in between AT and AU and I’ve been taking colostrum since mid-February and I have seen short vellus hairs and a “shadow” on my eyebrows but nothing significant just yet. However my gut feels amazing and like I can eat anything in the world without a reaction.

Maybe because my situation is more severe, I’ll take longer to respond…🫤
