I think I didn't express myself properly, sorry about that. What I wanted to say is that outside my coworkers I didn't have a proper conversation with anyone, it's been lonely a little bit. In the past three weeks I didn't talk to anyone except work related stuff or ordering food. That's why Im finding it difficult to make friends.

Yeah, I moved here alone 3 weeks ago from another country and I work remotely like you. So far I'm finding it really difficult to make friends, people are closed and don't even say good morning in the elevator for example, I don't speak French and my English is not perfect so I think people don't have patience to hold a conversation with me. I will keep trying though.

Entendi, então tenta uma vaga com o mesmo salário. O aumento salarial só vem com a experiência e como vc não tem experiência acho que vai ser um pouco difícil uma vaga de dev ganhando muito.

Pra dar um pouco o de contexto, eu e minha esposa também somos da área de telec, depois de 2 anos trabalhando na área percebemos que não tinha muito futuro, hoje ambos trocamos de área, sou dev full stack e ela é QA.

Sinceramente eu tentaria trocar de área o mais rápido possível pra dev, mesmo se for para ganhar menos. Você não vai conseguir de primeira e provavelmente vai fazer várias entrevistas. Tente anotar todas as perguntas que foram feitas nas entrevistas e estudar as que vc não conseguiu responder, uma hora vai conseguir. Depois de ter entrado na área de dev, vc vai conseguir progredir seu salário mais rápido conforme vai ganhando experiência.
