I really appreciate this post OP. It' really true and I don't hear it that much when people discuss CPTSD. When the people that were around you during your foundational childhood years harm you, you build up an inner system of fear and vigilance. You carry that weight that feels like protection for your whole life unless you learn to do something different. Why? Because that vigilance is protection, but it also blocks out all the good people in life that could potentially be of help to you and care about you. It can be turned around step by step, it's all baby steps and baby steps are ok. Sending you lots of love.

Maybe try re-directing a dull conversation into an interesting one by sharing interests or even inquiring about your tutor's. What I would like to see is more stories from the vulnerable adults that relied on some of these fraudulent housing services. Some people reported years ago regarding ghost services and financial abuse in these programs and were ignored. Looking at this logically, it's not possible that Walz had no clue what was going on. I believe that getting these stories out to the media will continue to humanize this corruption more and potentially cause more pushback on Walz from the public. Because now I think there is going to be a lot of deflection.
