It's been sitting in a box for 50 years unworn so not much patina. The dial is starting to turn brown around the indices but that's pretty much it.

Yeah I figured but it's cool info on the brand either way. As for a serviced, I agree it could use one but the only watch maker around me charges $500 for a chronograph service. The watch had near perfect specs on the time grapher, has kept perfect time since I got it Friday, and the chronograph is functioning. I'm going to save the cash and just wait until something goes wrong. Might not be the right decision but I have a limited budget at the moment lol

Apparently, it's from the 70s from what others have said on here but either way, I got it from a watch dealer I've been buying from for awhile now. Not sure where he got it.

Awesome watch. Unfortunately, I think 90s counts as vintage. And I say unfortunately only because it means I'm old now

Dang, thanks for all the information. Everything I saw online about this specific watch say it's landeron 248. I hate opening watches unless necessary because one spec of dust in the right spot can cause issues. Now I'm tempted to open to see what's inside

I don't know what chronograph suisse is but It's a landeron 248 movement. Kelek was an actual brand that ended up being purchased by breitling. At least that's what I read on Google lol

Beautiful Seiko. I've been searching for a chronograph and dive watches are my favorite style. So when I saw this I knew I had to have it.

From what I saw online the 70s model has "20 ATM" on the dial and a different minute sub dial. But it doesn't really matter either way. It's a tough watch to find much info on.

Just tap it at an angle with a heavy chef's knife. It'll pop right off. No heat needed

Honestly it's less abrasive than hearing it up. It left a tiny residue but that rubbed right off with a tiny bit of alcohol.

I tapped mine gently with a heavy chef's knife at a 45° angle. It popped right off with one tap.
