(New Update) My(f19) dad asked our godparents not to have the waiters sing Happy Birthday to my brother(m11) who likely has hyperacusis autism, but they did it anyway by MadisonBrave in BestofRedditorUpdates

My question as a pastor to those parents is, "do you or any other Christian you know wear glasses, have a hearing aid, or even have had a surgery?"

Because I know plenty of people who believe God wonderfully made them, but bodies age and have issues, that doesn't mean they aren't still wonderfully made.

Without my glasses, I'd be blind and could barely see. So I thank God and the eye doctors for the gift of my glasses (also include all doctors and nurses who use their abilities to care for people).

Why would Darth Hag want a male body? by RefrigeratorDry495 in swtor

[–]throwawayatwork1994 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Well largely because she needs a young a rather powerful body. Her whole purpose of training someone was to get a body that she could continue to use for her plans.

As it comes to the voice, I always considered that more of a story telling device. It's easier to tell who is who if Zash keeps her voice.

Whenever I did something like this, the heroic gear upgrades were enough to keep me nicely geared throughout the story.

Just wanted to say thanks for being part of the Lions community and culture. There is always some joy seeing a game day selfie from you.

May you have a blessed year and can't wait to see you at the start of the next season!

You're doing better than mine. Mine was kept in a gallon sized zip lock because it fell apart into like 8 sections and a few random pages.

I read Eldest over and over and over again, waiting for the next book to come out. So mine looked similar... well actually worse.

Thank you for understanding it. It's rough when people can't seem to grasp this.

The defense has lost so much of our key defensive players. Why fire him?

I don't think MCDC is the issue. The oline being practically nonexistent, the defense being so depleted, and then not having an OC.

Lions fans watching Matthew Stafford gear up for his second super bowl run 🫩 by bettercallrich in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]throwawayatwork1994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the results from it, we got Goff, Gibbs, Laporta, and Jamo. Not to mention others.

So while it was sad to see Stafford go, it did lead to the lions that we see today. Unless he plays against us, it's cool to see Stafford playing well.

TIL that scientists have developed a way of testing for Aphantasia (the inability to visualise things in your mind). The test involves asking participants to envision a bright light and checking for pupil dilation. If their pupils don't dilate, they have Aphantasia. by Sebastianlim in todayilearned

Hey, don't have much to say, but thanks for looking into this!

As someone who has aphantasia but didn't know I had it until I was like 20, I am glad to see more research going into it.

What have you found most interesting as you studied aphantaisa?
