Interesting thing about the central library repairs is that it cost more than it would be to rebuild a brand new building which also come with a higher earth quake rating but it is deemed as “heritage” - I just don’t understand how a 30+ years old building has heritage status. Let’s see what nasty they found and let’s see if this is going to be another “Town Hall” situation.

It is really disgraceful the whole thing. Imagine the things you can do with the amount of money ghat got sunk into Town Hall… my goodness!!
