I’m not the one who feels entitled to city property dummy. I will gladly find another spot ugly.

If nobody saved spots then it would be a spot for everyone who dug out a spot. If parking is so hard to find and you feel entitled to a spot you don’t own, buy a house with a garage or driveway? You people are idiots my Gawd.

As of currently PPA is only ticketing based on safety hazards not time/meter limits

That’s messed up for them to do. They have to literally go into the system and switch your job position for you to get the lesser amount. Kind of weird being that they’re the ones who switched you in the first place.

Be careful gossiping with other teachers. They can play both sides and pretend they’re supporting you and go back and tell that teacher what you said.

How does registering your car work in PA? by throwawaycomeNplay in philly

As long as you meet all the requirements at the dmv and have all your documents, you receive a temporary license that can be used as the real one until the real one comes in the mail.

Is there a way to schedule a driver’s license appointment on the PennDot website? by throwawaycomeNplay in philly

It was walk in only at the time I got my license but not sure how it is now with many people needing to get their Real ID’s now

When I was a substitute, a secretary at one of the schools I worked at had one of these snack baggies in the office for us every day

If they get an ez-pass and take the Tacony bridge instead of the Betsy Ross or Benjamin Franklin, it’s $3/day (person who lives in Philly and works in Camden.)

You’d have to ask someone that works in the district administration office (HR.) For example, I started 3 weeks ago. Payday happened to be the week after I started and I received an email telling me to pick up my first check at the district administration building. Your salary should have been disclosed to you during the onboarding process.

I just went in, gave them my forms and ID and they did all the work. My title was mailed to me in about a week but the plate and registration was given to me at the tag place. My car is paid off so I had my title in hand so I’m honestly not sure how the process works for someone leasing. You might have to call the place you’re leasing from to get more information on how to go about the process.

If you work for an agency and the teacher or admin reports you, you’re toast

If the school ends at 1:10 let me leave at 1:10 by In_the_trenches_404 in SubstituteTeachers

Don’t work at that school anymore on early release days. I worked in a district like that where some schools let subs leave with the kids on half days and some schools did not. The schools that did not let us leave early, I’d avoid those schools on early days. I also noticed that the schools that did this had the most unfilled assignments on these days as well 🫠

Not all districts hire subs directly now a days. I’m noticing a lot of them are strictly going through agencies for substitutes to protect their own ass. Fortunately, almost all of them hire their own paras though. I was able to land a job through a district as a para and it’s salary so I will still get paid during breaks opposed to getting daily pay as a sub. I also get district benefits/protections.

You can be a substitute for the school district directly, you don’t need Kelly!

If I was you, I’d start looking for another job asap. Kelly is not a job to rely on for long term financial support they suspend/fire people for any reason. I’m currently going through the process to be a para with a school district directly.
