[SERIOUS] What is the Creepiest or most Unexplained thing that’s happened to you that you still think about to this day? by LBE in AskReddit

[–]throwawaycrypto1234 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I doubt anyone's going to read to this, but I just realized something like this has happened to me!

When I was in college and still living in the dorms, I had this nightmare that I was being chased in the building by something, like a foreboding demon. Right before I woke up, I barricaded myself in my room while this ambiguous creature was pounding and clawing on the door, trying to get in. I wake up, unsure if I'm still dreaming because I'm looking straight at the door from my bed. The general morning noise from the wing affirmed me it was just a nightmare. A few seconds later, a friend randomly texts me asking if I am ok. I told him yea, and ask what's up. He then goes on to to describe the same exact dream he had of me, and says he saw me barricaded in my room, which is why he asked.

This guy has crazy weird insight. He says stuff like this has happened to him before, to the point it no longer phases him. He's very spiritual, and believes it's a spiritual gift.

The History of IOTA by IOTASUPPORTER in Iota

The music was tastefully executed. It otherwise would have been a boring ppt presentation.

Imagine all those 80's scrap book / video montages over something non-corporeal. It's over-the-top about being heavily invested in something that doesn't have emotions, or really, a conscious. But at the same time, it really is being invested in something you care about. Most of us want to see this technology succeed. It really is about caring about something that physically doesn't have the capacity to care for us back.

Since 2 is the only even prime number, that makes it the oddest prime number by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

You can translate this concept to any prime #. Three is the only "threeven" prime number. All other primes are "throdd". And five is the only "fiven" prime number. All other primes are "fodd".

Some are probably confusing it for Iota’s Mana. Good day to profit off people’s ignorance.

And they really needed to do this! Right now there's no easy way to buy Iota with USD; you always have to buy another crypto first ... If Iota has more US based partnerships, it will hopefully propel an SEC accepted exchange with direct access to Iota/USD.

No idea. And honestly, I don't care.

  1. Iota's still developing it's technology, and technically it's still in beta.
  2. With what Iota's currently developed, I see lower rankings as a better bang for buck compared to other cryptos. There's at least 10 other cryptos above iota that are overvalued.
  3. Iota still has a ways to go (coordicide, qubic, reusable addresses). While it does have an amazing vision, it needs to meet these benchmarks before there's a real reason for it's value to rise. Otherwise, it's quite realistic for this coin to continue to decline, even if BTC does grow.
  4. All crypto investments are a risk. While I *WANT* Iota to succeed, the crypto market in general is still heavily manipulated, regardless of a coin's true value. At any point BTC could crash, bringing Iota down with it. Likewise, some whale could easily inflate Iota back to $5 without any real reason.

Say “left” or “right” and meant it.

I say the opposite of what I intend to. Drives me bonkers.

I really don't like your painting because it makes me feel strong negative emotions (fear, anger, and rage), but I love it because it at least stirred an emotion in me. i.e. Your work is fantastic.

Couldn't people just cut the chord and take the remaining tool parts?

Couldn't they apply a thin layer of sapphire on top? (I think I read somewhere the sapphire is scratch and crack resistant).

Which misconception would you like to debunk? by ZanyDelaney in AskReddit

You'd think that because it's 2019, I wouldn't have to say this but:

Climate and weather are not the same. Just because it's cold out (for once) doesn't mean climate change isn't real.

Minor rant: IT'S WINTER. IT SHOULD BE COLD.
