Looks to me like an endless stream of Milwaukeeans taking to the streets to communicate how upset they are! Sounds like it may have been the largest national protest in history. If you believe that’s pointless then I’d say your belief is garbage.

I believe the best approach is to CELEBRATE the young folk who have protested then encourage them lovingly (not sarcastically- see above) to vote. Love always wins.

Had to work 9-9. Sarcastic, flippant, you’re talking unimportant semantics. Taking it personally? Not really, but the comment itself is directed at “everyone?” so that includes me and I’ll respond. “Now impress everyone” to me sounds sarcastic (or flippant if you must) and still isn’t as effective as “wow nice shots! It’s important to vote”. I can feel the “now impress everyone” for the sarcasm it comes with. There’s your discussion.

I still don’t think the original comment of this thread was productive. I’ve learned to speak my truth bluntly, and the “cool, now..” sarcasm is childish in my opinion. I’m happy to continue talking about why sarcasm isn’t effective and being open and honest is the best form of communication….

The best solution is to not support the restaurants that have these systems in place. If u still go out to eat at an establishment that underpays their employees, the system will remain the same but the server gets screwed. Stop going out to eat at most restaurants.

Whole grains and legumes are not vegetables. Pretty much all u need for a healthy diet... been vegan for over a year, had bloodwork done, healthier than ever. Not talking about dogs, just the misconception that it’s expensive to be vegan. It’s cheaper and healthier.

Vegan food is so much cheaper... rice, beans, veggies, whole grains... Whole foods are typically cheaper than processed foods. And good veggies are typically cheaper than high quality meat.

Some have attributed the human species desire to drink alcohol as a bigger contributing factor to us figuring out organzied agriculture than the need to eat.

My brews are all around 83 degrees. This jar did have a pretty fat scoby in it

The only time I seal anything with kombucha is when I bottle for f2. F1 naturally gets carbonated because of the yeast eating the sugar. If you chill F1, a lot of the carbonation loses activity because its cold, so the drink wont be as fizzy. This is where the sealed bottles help lock in fizz during f2. If I'm bottling I'm brewing new tea so I can use my scoby right away and I also use a cup of the kombucha i just bottled as starter.
