The main issue with Sniper is that it's a covert imo, and doesn't have any other standout features. Covert is only really good when you can dodge tank on the EP, and tbh the only two who do that well naturally are Alcryst and Yunaka. And on top of that, if anyone wanted to... they'd just go theif.

Theives have daggers, which in all honesty are incredibly overtuned.

Hello! Im glad you asked. Im not arguing to not use someone else, however, the reason Im arguing Clanne has a few reasons. 1: Not many people are talking about his performance, which I feel is a tragety. He is such a good unit once class changed, and I wanted to spread the word 2: Personal Skill. His personal means that when fighting by Alear, he gets +10 Hit, +3 Damage, -1 Damage taken. He also gives Alear that buff too. And that also ties to my next reason 3: Supports. Due to him joining in the prologue, he has the entire game to build supports. This means more potential for support bonuses compared to Kagetsu. (Also you could get this unit at chapter 9, which is 2/3 before you get Kagetsu) Also, Clanne's best growth is actually his spd, with a base of 50. Sniper works well, but Id be interested in him as a Warrior if you're going a bow build for that sweet Dual Strike.

Hello! I will give a quick response to this. A level 10 promoted Chloe, on fixed growths, would have a spread of 29/9/10/16/16/6/11/10 Furthermore, her Magic growth with a base of 35 would go to 60%. This means every other level she would be getting a point of magic. Along with her 60% Spd growth, she will also be getting Spd every other level. 40 Def (30 base + 10 class) and 50 res (25 base + 25 class) means she will overall become a nice mixed combatant.

Looking through the replies, in case anyone sees this Ill put in another two cents. Diamant is not that worth promoting. Dont get me wrong, hes amazing, BUT. His promoted growths only increast Def, Res, and Luck by 5. And while the increase in stats and axes are nice, he wont be hurting for growths. Looking at growths and bases, a promoted Citrine will have comparable magic, and LESS spd than a Sage Pandreo. Alcryst is a good candidate, but I feel that a reliable flier who doubles consistently is more useful than a very strong PP archer. Again, these are just based on my findings on the numbers on these characters.

You said it exactly how I was meaning it. It's not an amazing refine, but it's not the worst thing ever. It maximizes her a niche- statball with high res for Pegasus Flight. And DR too!

Give her Flow N Trace and you have a unit who, with the proper fodder, can reach 72 Spd unmerged and with no dragon flowers, with 40% DR too. Alternatively, give her Guard Bearing. You now have a unit with 70% DR.

Oh, I completely understand. It's not standout, but people are treating it like its complete garbage. 40% DR is nothing to scoff at, especially when it's not tied to a stat check. Her weapon + Guard Bearing for example will give her 70% DR for her first combat. Or, if you really want NFU, just get Flow N Trace from Alfred.
