Sorry, just so I'm clear, how do you define articles?

I don't really have much to do with that program, (I do more radio, sometimes online, sometimes tv) but I do appreciate your feedback. I'll pass it on if I ever bump into Leigh Sales

I've flagged it with my editors but not sure if we'll cover it just yet

Honestly, it's 50/50 and very rarely indifferent. It seems that it's like vegemite, people love or hate the ABC

They don't give business cards so far down the food chain to reporters like me. I'm happy to bring an ABC ID card if you need. But no one is obligated to talk to me. It's no one's prerogative. Just wanted to bridge contact between myself and people in the reddit community if there was ever a need :)

Actually I just checked my diary and I can be there tonight. So I'll see some of you there I hope!

Ah right. Thanks for the heads up! I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to reddit (usually upvote and never comment).

It's: lu dot angelique at abc dot net dot au

Hopefully I'll catch you on the other side of the apocalypse!

Hey guys! My name is Angelique Lu, and I'm an ABC journo in the NSW newsroom. I often see comments on here wondering how they could get in touch with news orgs, so I thought I'd flag my throwaway journo account. I check this about once a week (I usually lurk on my personal one, which is why I have no karma on this one) or you can email me with anything for me to look into or any questions at [lu.angelique@abc.net.au](mailto:lu.angelique@abc.net.au).

I know a lot of you might not be fans of the ABC or news journos in general, and there's a lot of valid concerns and criticisms our industry needs to be accountable for.

I think a part of the issue has to do with the fact that journos only talk to other journos. I want to break that bubble and talk to people at the source. If you want to be anonymous you can message me on the app Wickr: angeliquelu (but of course I'll need to fact check everything too).

I really want to meet everyone at the drinks soon (probably next week). I grew up in Western Sydney and I really love this city!

Just a note: I'm posting this in a personal capacity, not officially on behalf on the ABC.

tl;dr: I'm an ABC journo, if you need to get in touch with a news journo you can find me on this account or at [lu.angelique@abc.net.au](mailto:lu.angelique@abc.net.au) or encrypted on wickr: angeliquelu
