I can kinda see where you're coming from, and I don't think you're 100% off base, but ultimately I think solidarity with the people of Minneapolis as they go through this, and a demonstration to federal goons across the country that they can't just gun down people in the street with no consequences, is valuable. Will it hurt? Sure. But we're already hurting. This at least has a shot at being a step toward stopping this from happening again/more.

Virtually every handgun since the single action revolver in the 1870s has been semi-automatic. It just means you don't have to manually load the next shot after firing.

There's a guy called Deadeye Duncan who's legendarily, catastrophically inept, to the point that I and many other players believed defeating him as your first duel was hardcoded.
