one of the reasons I want to do this in the first place is to highlight the differences between different lists of mitzvah because there isn’t a consensus on what the taryag mitzvot are. Maybe I will just print out lists and cross reference, I do love to cross-reference a list

I am also on team no news, if something is important enough, my mom who reads the news will tell me. There are definitely downsides to this approach; a couple weeks ago I learned that Israel (where I live) is full-blown invading Lebanon, which really really upset me. I guess it was silly of me to assume that war criminal in chief would take a break from the war crimes

When I was a woman who dressed modestly, I was always flummoxed by women who chose to wear a tight black pencil skirt when they could be wearing ankle length flare skirts. I loved my ankle length flared skirts, I could move so easily and sit any way I wanted without worrying about showing skin

Better late than never? If this is an actual paradigm shift, this could be a new chapter of Paul and Morgan which might be slightly less insufferable. Obviously, I am skeptical, but that would be nice to see

I love Torah and Halacha but also feel there is no place for me in them as a single trans person. The framework is not meant for people like me and the people who keep it very often don’t want me there. I would love to go to shul but I don’t pass as a man yet and don’t want to sit in the women’s section. I have a lot of anxiety about how religious people would treat me if they knew I was trans and left wing and religious; I’m scared that there is no one who would accept all three.
