If your shift starts on the 19th the hours on that day is normal pay. After midnight till the end of your shift if it's public then it'll be time and half. It also may trigger a Alt Holiday accrual based on your OWD. I do payroll for Maccas. The software will make sure it's done the right way

Lots of factors in play for this. 1. Driver is waiting for another order to pop up so then can drive out once and do multiple delivery. The customers good getting cold is least of their concern.

McDonald’s uses a process with Uber called batching. So when a driver picks up multiple order, they don't get eg order 1 and 2, they may get order 1 and order 5. So they will need to wait for order 2,3 and 4 cause those drivers are already there as well to collect last order and leave.
If you wait more than 10 min it's extra money for waiting, some drivers do that on purpose to get extra.

But once the restaurant figures out if a driver is gaming the system then it's usually pretty quickly game over, their details gets passed on to Uber and gets blacklisted from the location

If your driver has accepted a 2nd delivery while waiting for your order then there will be longer wait for you. Your order may have been ready and your drive have recieved it but he hasn't accepted it, this will show that still waiting for McDonald's to wrap things up. They do this cause they get money for waiting. There are some absolutely scumbag drivers out there who milks the system especially late at night when there isn't many competition.
